So, I may have scuppered my plans to drive to work tomorrow before they even started...
Myself and Mr Fresian went for a drive today (lovely day for it) and went for a walk along the beach. I then went a stood on a whacking great rusty nailIt was so hefty that it punctured my trainer and, sadly, my foot. I've disinfected it and so on, but am going to call the doctor in the morning to see if I need a tetanus jab  At the moment, I'm limping quite badly, so suspect that driving will be pretty painful. Humbug.
In other news, I've spent a heroic amount of money in the shops over the last couple of days. Yesterday was £35 in Morrisons and today was £16 in Sainsbury's (although £8 of that was a new pair of trousers), £26 in Aldi and £31 on petrol. That's £100 on nothing more than fuel and food. And trousers
In good news, the freezer is now essentially stocked, although I'm planning on making a vast batch of bolognaise sometime this week. I bought loads of mushrooms and peppers in Aldi so they're going to get chopped and frozen tomorrow, so that they're there when I need them. This leaves me with just over £120 for groceries and 30 days until payday. Totally doable....

Gosh you're so good at managing your food budget. I really need to get a grip of mine. I think my downfall is going to different shops for products i've seen on offer, but then picking up other bargains i see on the way. I really need to organise myself again and use lists i think.
Love your new signature!One step at a time0 -

Love your new signature!I am noticing that everything in the shops is costing more as well - my normal margarine has gone up 20p in the last fortnight  I'm going to have to get back into the way of batch cooking and meal planning I think. Tomorrow Mr Fresian's cooking dinner though so I'm happy to let him do that
Re the signature - I had to change it as I'm no longer debt-free. It's accurate too :rotfl: We're sorting out the insurance for Fred tomorrow, so I'll pay that out of my ISA and then it's time to start PADding to overpay the loan for the car.
Mr Fresian's sister is planning on moving out at the end of September, so we're only going to have her money for another two months. That's £600 of overpayments to the loan unless anything else crops up. I'm still going to OP the mortgage too, although that's likely to be smaller payments. I paid £5 last week and next week will pay something too. I now need to prioritise the unsecured loan over the mortgage. I could move my diary back to the DFW boards, but hopefully nobody will mind me hanging out on the MFW boards for a while as it ultimately reflects where I want to be.

Hi F_F
So sorry to hear that you have injured yourself, hope it doesn't take too long to get you back to normal and walking hun...that said you now have Fred, hope you enjoyed you day out even with getting the darn nail in your foot and through your new trainers too.
I am sure you will get rid of the loan in no time and that you will still do really well with getting MF with your determination and organisation I am sure you will have no trouble at all.
Hope all goes well at the doctors tomorrow hun.

Hope all goes well at the doctors tomorrow hun.Ouch, hope it feels better this morning
I was hoping to avoid the doctors, but it's still quite throbby and I think I should probably check about the tetanus jab anyway, so Mr F is going to drive me there and then drop me off at workOn the bright side, I'm meeting the lovely Souk after work for coffee as she's in Edinburgh for a job interview
I've paid £1.01 into my ISA this morning as my PAD, as I'm going to be storing up my loan overpayments in there so that they're accessible in an emergency if needed. I also put £1.50ish into my mortgage overpayment piggies last night, so I'm still saving up the spare change for that too.
Off to do the rounds of survey checks now - there's not normally anything at this time of day, but trying to search for the sites through SB normally nets me a couple of points. Then it's time to do some comping and then off to work
