i have a 32" bush lcd tv thats now a month old and yesterday and tonight its just turned itsself off , all that stays on is a red flashing light. When it happened yested we managed to turn it back on after 20 mins
would i be right in wondering if the tv is overheating? or there something else going on!?

We had a similar problem with a Sony CRT flat screen it did it contiually, sometimes 4 or 5 times per day. It was an intermittant fault, does it come back on itself sometimes? They tried to repair it so many times and every time we had it back it started doing it again. Even on the day they bought it back to us once. Eventually after a battle it was repaced FOC.0

Long shot-
Have you checked that the remote control isn't under something that is causing it to press the power button?0 -
As it's only a month old, contact the retailer and ask for a new replacement. Don't settle for anything less unless they give you a good loan set.0

Some tvs flash a fault code sonys for example is it a steady flash or something like 2 quick one slow if its flasing a code it might help narrow the fault0 -

Hi Check there is no arcing in the plug socket, this will cause the TV to go into standby, look closely for pit marks on the mains plug pins, or try using an extension lead from another socket.otherwise you have fault in the TV for which you will need an engineer.0
