Car Insurance Premium Tax

Hi
Can anyone advise please? I recently renewed my car Insurance through a broker. When I got the documentation, I could see that the Insurer had charged Insurance Premium Tax of £25.91 on top of the policy price of £432. I had also added extras to my policy such as Legal cover etc. The broker then added Insurance Premium Tax of £30 ish on the full amount? Is this a double hit of Insurance Premium Tax. Can you be charged twice,? Once by the Insurer and again by the Broker? I called the brokers but 'no-one was available to answer my query'

Sounds like a mistake.
IPT from January 4th this year is 6% (prior was 5%).
6% of £432 is £25.92, so give or take a penny, £25.91 is correct.
What were the actual charges that were added on after that please (ie breakdown of amounts, and description)
And what is the overall total including all charges/IPT etc.0
