Can I change postage charges after sale

I sold a print that was in a frame. Before bidding the buyer asked if I could remove the print and send to him seperately. I advised I could put in a tube and post to him.

After he won the item I took the print out of the frame but its made of card and unable to be rolled.

Best way to send to him is put back in frame and post like that but its
going to cost more.

Can I up the charges to the buyer after he has already paid ?

    No.
You should have sorted the cost of posting before selling not after. The buyer paid the price you quoted. If you choose to email the buyer asking for more then they do not have to pay more and this could affect your feedback.
I occasionally work out postage wrongly and it is my mistake so I pay the extra.
The weight of your item should not change so unless the packaging weighs more how is this going to effect the postage costs? Is the buyer just after the picture not the frame? Could you not put the picture between 2 layers of card?

As above, put the print between 2 pieces of card, it shouldn't cost much more than before. You may make the extra p&p up on the frame that you can now sell separately.

I thought it would be the case. Thanks
