Made to Measure Curtains

I ordered a pair of made to measure curtains in April which was eneven at the bottom where one end of the curtain is 1cm shorter in drop. I have since returned the cirtains to the retailer for them to be ammended. I went to the store on Saturday to be told that the curtains have been ammended, however when I measured them they are still uneven a the bottom and the retailer says the supplier does not think there is a problem with the curtains. I have asked fro a refund which they wont give me either considering I havd paid £417 for the curtains and they are made to spec. Can you please advice if I am entitled to a full refund? I am in the pocess of writing to their head office.

Thanks

My understanding is that if an item is made to spec then you need to consult the terms and conditions you agreed to when you bought them to see if it has a mention of tolerances (where say the made curtains can be either slightly less or slightly more than what you ordered) if this is in there and the curtains you have recieved are within the tolerance limit then you have no refund rights. If you think the curtains are not acceptable, not as described or fit for purpose then technically you can persue the retailer for the refund as your "contract of sale" is with them.

Please check this advice though as i'm not 100%
