I would say the problem with your argument is that if you still have the same amount of children only later it will not effect the ratio.

    It most certainly will.

I plan children around the age of 29, by the time I am 32 many chavs will be on the second generation, now even if they went if only 2 children that would mean there is 2 adult, 2 teenage and 2 baby chavs while my worker family is 2 adults and 2 babies.

Never mind the fact 2 wouldn't get them a big enough house.

Seriously we are going to be overrun.

So due to us workers having to wait longer for housing we are having less children while the none workers are breeding like rabbits.

Yes the chavs will carry on while the government keeps rewarding them for it, but the other side is the none chav breed of people are reproducing a lot slower meaning the ratios of chav to human are getting worse by the day.

So no house prices have nothing to do with chavs, but they have a lot to do with the human population how can't keep up with them on the breeding front.

That is a different argument to th thread though. If you started one with that viewpoint you would get more support IMO.

But if you have your children when you are in your early twenties or mid thirties it wont have any effect on the overall ratio the only way you can effect that is to discourage the so call chavs from having more children.

We didn't have our first child until I was 32, wasn't quite the plan but it wouldn't have moved by much.

It won't necessarily affect the ratio directly, as you will still have 2 and chav will still have 4, but it will effect the sequencing and therefore the mix over time.

You could then spin the debate into social and health conditions. In my parents families 2 siblings on each side died before age 13 and they were down to 50% by the time of 50 due in part to poorer conditions and healthcare.

Quite simply if one group has much shorter generation gaps than the other there will be more of that group alive at any one time.

    Simple maths tells you this.

Not if each generation has the same amount of children.

So if each generation has 2 children.

    3 generations alive is 6
    5 generations alive is 10

Shorter generations gaps lead to more being alive at the same time.

    How is this sum wrong?

The maths is right but how many child bearing generation can be alive at the same time I would about 3 ie 16, 32. and 48

In your case 2 ie 32 and 48 I can’t see how the number can go higher than that.

You don't need to be of child bearing age to be alive.

    so
    4, 32 ,60 (28 year gap)
    and
    4, 20, 36, 52, 68 (16 year gap, late bloomers in chav words)
