I bought 8 tickets to see Take That from Ticketmaster (standing), the date that I was notified of receiving them came and went and I did not receive them.
I have contacted Ticketmaster several times and they say that there is proof the tickets were delivered as the courier says so and took a photo of the front door. They do not ask for a signature or ID despite the tickets being worth £500 so as far as I am concerned, there is no proof.
They will not take any responsibility and said the best they could do would be see if the couriers would refund - they said no as they are happy that the tickets were delivered. As they are standing tickets they cannot replace them but said they would if they were seated but health and safety does not allow them to replace unreserved tickets.
The address they were sent to is a downstairs flat and I think on that basis (there is an a and b flat), they should have asked for a signature in case they have been delivered to the wrong flat.
However with 4 weeks to go until the concert, I have no tickets and no refund. Any ideas of what to do next?

Surely Ticketmaster can cancel the other tickets and send new ones with a new barcode, i would be fuming if i were you.
Just be glad you have 4 weeks to fight it, some people didn't get their tickets til a few days before the show.Internet earnings:

I'm sure they get this a lot with unreserved tickets-people claiming not to have got them as it's not like having a seat number so are super cautious.
What did downstairs say (I'm assuming you'd have asked them before going through all of this)
Ask TM to email you a copy of the photo to verify the couriers DID deliver to the correct address
Bottom line is you have a contract with TM for them to supply you with tickets -if they use a duff courier company that is their concern and not yours and you need to be prepared to take them to small claims if needs be-and they should be made aware of this. If you paid by creditcard you'd be likely able to claim a chargeback as goods were not supplied-so worth a word with your creditcard company for advice too.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

The other flat say they weren't delivered, the photo does show both front doors so not conclusive and Ticketmaster are adamant that as the tickets are unreserved, the barcode is void and cannot be cancelled.
I am fuming!0 -
A photo of a closed front door is now proof of delivery?
I'd be contacting the credit card company and starting a chargeback, but that won't get the tickets though.0 -
I got tickets for Take That, and they said "hand delivered" on the envelope and also if they've been delivered to the wrong address contact Ticketmaster and don't put back in the Royal Mail. I thought it very trustworthy of Ticketmaster to expect anyone receiving them in error not to keep them.
I would go the chargeback route like mikey72 suggests and also check the website for more tickets going on sale as they've been releasing more for football stadiums recently now that they know the layout of the stage etc (saw this on ticketline website).Mortgage to clear asap! - [STRIKE]£148,874.38 [/STRIKE]as at 1 May 2013£79,176.55 May 2018£59,516.06 July 2019November 2020 £35,914.620 -
Sheesh - that's shocking.
I was not impressed to find that I wasn't requested to sign for my TT tickets - so glad the courier found the right door.
If you haven't got them, you haven't got them. Ticketmaster cannot prove delivery. Start a chargeback, and ring consumer direct for an extra bit of reassurance pet.
Hope you get it sorted and manage to see the boysWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?
