I was a teacher and paid PPI on a loan from Lloyds. The loan has finished more than 6 years ago. I have a statement with the original loan amount and the amount of insurance. At the moment I have no other documents.
Beyond saying 'can I have my money back please' is there anything else I can do to persuade them?
thank you

You just tell them why you think you were mis-sold.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Being a teacher were you perhaps covered elsewhere? Could you have ever used the PPI? What do you think your reasons for misselling would be, there are lots in the PPI reclaiming guide. If you feel it was missold then just say it like it was to you.I was a teacher and paid PPI on a loan from Lloyds. The loan has finished more than 6 years ago. I have a statement with the original loan amount and the amount of insurance. At the moment I have no other documents.

so the fact that the PPi and loan ended more than 6 years ago won't rule it out?0
