Ill join you both.
Ive still got lots of pottering to do upstairs.
Have re-tidied the kitchen, taken beef joing out of the freezer for tomorrow, answered some ebay peeps about collection and emptied the food waste bin in the kitchen.
WM has finished so I need to go empty and hang that too.
See you all soon xSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Thanks for the company, Valli and Jo. Washing pegged out (no rain today and none forecast
), WM on again, cat fed, got supper for DS2, our bed stripped, 2 beds made up and spare bedding folded and away. :j
Now for the frog... I'm determined to take a good bite out of it, at least. I'll make a cuppa to take upstairs with me, as it's bound to be thirsty work.
Not sure I'll be back on tonight, so I may see you all in the morning.0 -
DS1 brought some of his washign round to do and 'helped' me by putting the washing from the WM in the TD.. he had wrecked 2 cardigans and 5 of Squeaks bibs... LOL... I have done it! :j :j :j :j :j
I have totally gutted my room (apart from the clothes!) There is no dust, crapola or clutter. Under the bed is back to only having the underbed storage boxes for my shoes... Make up drawers and toiletries which have haunted and followed me for years are almost gone (I have now the stuff I use plus a few extra 'treats' that I do actually use and are in date) Bed is made, room has been dusted and dewebbed from top to bottom, and every nook and cranny hoovered. Now that its clean and I can actually move around in it, I might even go through my clothes tomorrow! :rotfl:
Downstairs needs to be dusted and hoovered through again tomorrow, although I have already dewebbed everywhere today. Then all the floors can be mopped and I should have a fairly presentable house
Bathroom still needs a good gutting mind.... Maybe Ill see if I can squeeze that in tomorrow too.Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Busy day tomorrow as today was fairly unproductive. It started well with washing in the machine, breakfast, DW filters cleaned, washing up done, DW on cleaning cycle, a tip run, visit to the health food shop, and fruit and veg sorted out and cooked (poached apricots and ratatouille) ready for freezing. However, it then ground to a halt, so I have a lot to do tomorrow asa I'm off on another work trip at the crack of dawn on Monday.
- Laundry
- Meter readings
- Packing
- Pay Harry
- Clear out car
- Clean kitchen
- Set off and empty DW
- Sort freezers
- Wash floors downstairs
- Email re bathroom
- Cut nails
- Hoover sitting room
- Plant new plants (10)
I think that's it ... Although I could do with mowing the lawn and doing a LOT of weeding!0 -
WOW well done Jo :j:j:j
I've, erm, decluttered a pie and a half.and off to bed I go!
