Oooh i did loads in my HHC! Mum & Dad came round, so i left them with the kids and cleaned the downtairs bathroom, swept the kitchen floor and mopped both bathroom floors and the kitchen floor.
They don't come round to see me anyway, so i don't feel bad!

Morning all
DS at school, dog walked (before the rain) and DD's given a lift into town (only agreed to on the condition that DD1 cleans the bathroom when she gets back
) DD2 needs to revise for her last exam tomorrow, so has been let off (for today!)
I need to get my @r$e in gear (I seem to be saying that every day) I think I will do a HHC at 11 if anyone wants to join in.
That gives me time to make a cuppa and take the washing upstairs.
then I will have a shower (smear test later) and update the lists.
Pigpen - I am glad Squeak is feeling a bit better this morning.
PS Just had a call from my mum. Her brother (my uncle) is in hospital. He has a tumour in his throat, and has now been suffering from severe back pain. the docs have called his wife to go in (something about his heart). It is all a bit patchy. He hasn't told his wife about scan results, and has told my mum not much more. It doesn't look good, and we are fearing the worst. Please send lots of positive vibes (not sure if 'healing' vibes are too late) for my mum, my aunt and her young children (his 2nd wife is only a little older than me, and the kids are 11 & 7)

Good Luck Today Lady Liberty.
Morning All, first day back at work and those large sighs of relief in the Birmingham area are from Him Indoors... he's glad to see the back of me after 3 weeks :rotfl:
Jo: With the spreadsheet; is it water rates and/or ordinary rates giving you the problem as I think (:D) we pay both of those over a 10 month period with a gap in Feb and March??
Well, the living room and bedroom sort out is proceeding: there is only one thing under the bed as the rest of the boxes would fit in the cupboard:j:j‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I need to chase the solicitor and check DS2's growth appt. and find my diary as there is something else I am certain.

Hi all.
I'm a little earlier coming on to pick up my list than I was yesterday - but I don't have any baking to do today.;)
Goodintentions lots of posi-vibes; whatever happens with your Uncle, I hope he's at least not in too much discomfort. (((HUG)))Jojo_the_Tightfisted wrote: »And I daren't say a word about the bathroom roof/ceiling, or I'll just get a 'can't you reach up there with your broomstick?'
I should probably mention, when I posted last night I'd consumed half a bottle of very nice Argentinian white wine, what with it being Full Moon.;):DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

PigPen Glad Squeak had a better night. Makes all the difference. My DD had pneumonia at 18 months but it resulted in her being in hospital for about 10 weeks.Luckily no after affects though.
My days seem muddled at the moment. Didn't come to until 11am so that's breakfast out the window. OH is out so no drink either. Not that I'm not capable but I don' go downstairs until my body is ready, and I don't think it is yet.
Sun was shining brightly in the bathroom yesterday afternoon so I decided to get ahead and gave it a good clean then. Just freshened it up his morning.

Went for a walk round the park and had a nice long cuddle with a lurcher, then came back and spent an hour gardening. I think I've got all the dirt out of my fingernails now.0

Does anyone have any bright ideas for a way to package bundles of clothes sold on fleabay?
I toook 3 bags to PO yesterday (yey) and lady behind the counter said they don't like bin bags cos they get damaged. Goint point, I don't want big holes opening up and spilling the clothes out then getting bad feedback.
Not getting much done as full on week this week and going to Centerparcs tomorrow, but have got rid of bag of stuff to charity shop this morning. It feels good to be clearing stuff out.0
