  • Well, I got a few things ebayed, I'm going to spend my entire summer ebaying at this rate :o

No desks tidied, but I'll get round to that tomorrow maybe. :o
  • I hate to say this and I'm sure that living with Miss Smartypants must be Hades at times, but down the line I would want someone like her in my corner.
Of course the teacher should not have used a punishment under those circumstances and I bet she is counting the days till Minion moves to someone else's class.

Hmmm, yes, I do agree. I think Minion was in the right, but I have never heard of her being argumentative like that before. Well, with anyone other than me (and I chucked a bucket of water over her as a result - the teacher doesn't have that luxury).

She wants to be taught by the Head of DT again, as he thinks she's great because she is so practical (and can lecture anyone on reading circuit diagrams, fault finding on domestic appliances, digging foundations, bricklaying and how to use power tools when you weigh 5 stone). I suspect that everyone in the department will be hoping for this, too.

Whatever gives you that idea? I am but sweetness and light all the time!

However, more important things abound. I inadvertantly clicked on a thread going on about the Fairy Jobsmother and realised that Natty68 was getting a hell of a pasting from some of the posters on it, turning very personal and calling her names for not working, etc, because she dared to say that she felt the programme wasn't treating the participants with respect.

She had logged off long before I clicked on the link, but this was particularly nasty and someone even started another thread pretty much inviting other posters to say nasty things about her as well.

Don't know what I hope to achieve by telling you guys, but I don't think this is going to be good for her health to be subjected to this degree of abuse.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Suppose I ought to get dressed now and ready for work. I'm going to watch DD in a concert tonight and she's got to be there for 6.30 so I won't have a lot of time to do anything tonight.

    Have a good day all

Aw thanks for that Kaz, thats a lovely thoughtful offer, but these are framed photos... babyshoot photos from when he was little, a four-generation photo taken at a wedding, that sort of thing. I dont have them all on the walls at the same time so some of them have been lurking in the cupboard under the stairs for some time. They have already gone with my sister, but I will ask her to take photos for me when she gets to my parents.

    Thanks :A

I am sooooooo tired this morning. Forgot to bring my washing in off the line last night and typically, its raining this morning, :(

Need to chase LO out of bed as I start at 8.30 today so he needs to be gone in 30 mins. Hes been having '5 more minutes' for 30 mins now!! :rotfl:

Anyway - have listed another 3 things on Ebeast. Most things have bids on them now, so at least they will all go, but at the minute its likely to be for 99p each! Fingers crossed I get some more than that!

Off to do something productive and stop moaning :D:cool:

Love n hugs n sticks n spoons as required.

    Hugs to Toots xxx
