Wanting to give me old Sky+ box to my old boy, he currently has an old standard sky box with just a single output on the LNB and a single cable running from dish to sky box.
I know i'm gonna need a new LNB with at least 2 outputs and to run a new cable but not sure what type of LNB i need to fit the dish ? The dish is easily 20 year old, its not really that accessible to climb up to check what type it is unfortunatly, anyone know what type of fitment i'd need to fit that age of dish ?
Thanks

Will the old dish even work? What does it get at the moment? It needs to be pointing in the right direction. Can't answer your other questions, sorry.0

Dunno ? Why wouldn't it ?
It receives most of the Sky channels at the min, Movies / Sports / Music ect ... so id've thought it would be ok with just a new LNB ?0 -
A chap sells sat stuff at our local market -quad lnb, £5 - I think they only changed dish arm in the last couple of years, he gave the relevant mounting arm.
Plenty similar on ebay , have a look.0
