Hi

Does anyone know much about this tariff? Is it new, when did it last have a price rise etc?

Thanks in advance

(I'm on V7 and thinking of changing.)

  • no its not new , V12 is the newest i think , they last had a rise in march (unlike V7 - which is getting a late rise in july) - im on V7 , and changed to fixed saver V2 2012 - was going for 2014 , but the missus suggested 2012 would be better for now.
  • No it is new thats how crazy EDF seem to work the go to OS12 then back to OS10. I reckon the prices will rise if they annouce a general price increase on standard tariff, They increased my OS7 by 30% so I think im off to ScottishPower.

EDF intoduced "V10" this month on June 6th - it is marginally cheaper than "V12" for most consumers
  • i stand corrected - and thus the naming scheme is wierd - OS12 was april and indeed OS10 is this month...

Online Saver v10 is the newest and cheapest online EDF Energy tariff, 12 was released before hand. It takes 1-2 weeks for the tariff change to kick in, so i'd advise calling now and switching instead of waiting for your existing tariff to end, or there'll be a period of 1-2 weeks of being on the standard rates.

Hi, I am currently on Online Saver 7 and thinking to move to Saver 10. According to compare sites S10 is cheapen than S7 for me. Can anyone provide a link for EDF Chat online? I have been looking through the website and reading MSE but cannot find it.

    Thanks

Like the banks and building societies with their multiple versions of savings accounts, the utilities do like to do their best to purposefully confuse their customers.
If only it didn't work for them. Sadly it does:(
