Mortgage valuation report _ should i be worried ?

    Thst's what i originally thought. It was just when I googled "Differential Settlement" i read all sorts of horror stories ! I suppose the valuer was just keeping himself right on the report. Do you think then i dont need a full survey or even ahome buyers report.
    it does state for the rating for the repointed part - 3 . which means "essential repairs needed"

    If you do decide on a structural engineer's report (a bit of overkill, if you ask me) here's the site to find one in your area;-

    See if the vendor will go halves with you. Then they get a copy if it's bad and you decide not to proceed.

    Do you think from reading my first post that is nothing to worry about. Its just that I am a first time buyer ( only 24 ) and would hate to be stuck with a house I cannot sell agagin or even get builing insurance for ....

    Get some insurance quotes perhaps for it and see how much it'll cost.
