Faulty Clothing after washing - where do I stand

I have bought a tracksuit from the studio catalogue - you know the clothing one - its an everlast one so they are normally pretty good with being the boxing manufacturers
Having worn it once and washing it according to the instructions - like I do with all clothing - I have gone to wear it and the legs have become short and the knees out of shape.
When i've just rang they have said I can't return it as I have washed it wrong - how can I wash something wrong that states 30 degree wash then hang on the washing line - waiting for the manager to ring me back as I have just looked and consumer law states that I have a right to my money back or a replacement as they are obviously faulty - I look like my budgie has died and I have knobbly knees.
What more can I do to get my money back?

as long as you have washed as per the instructions, then you havent done anything wrong. Push them for refund under Sale of Goods Act0

Yes keep trying the SOGA then try trading standards then try more threatening letters potentially meaning a claim through court. They shouldn't shrink when washed as per instructions as you know. Good luck...:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
