Been with the RAC for about two months having been with AA for over 9 years.
Today had the misfortune in the rain to get a puncture (bad tracking tyre U/S) and then realised that the car has no spare wheel. The emergency repair kit is a liquid gel which you pour in the tyre and then heat up?
Some parts from the kit were missing so had no choice but to call out the RAC.
Initially they said 45mins, but turned up in 5mins. Then took my wheel to kwikfit to replace the tyre, paid for it on company creditcard and then returned and fit the tyre. Payment sorted at roadside.
Problem sorted in less than an hour. Bloody marvellous.

I love the RAC, my last car ended up developing several problems in the space of a few weeks and had to call them out 3 or 4 times. I never waited longer than an hour and they always sorted me out without any problems. If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.0

Excellent, good to hear some good news. We have gone back to the RAC, the AA were appalling! I had a puncture last year and they refused to come out. Something to do with the spare wheel not being right. At the time I was 30 weeks pregnant and my husband is visually impaired so he couldn't help. I had to then pay to be towed to a local garage!0
