Fitting an outdoor switch

I need to fit a outdoor switch (to operate a light on my decking).
What cable do I need to use?
I'm wondering because the glands that come with the switch boxes/connection boxes are all suitable for 6-12mm round cable - and I don't seem to be able to find glands that are suitable for standard twin & earth.
If I use the glands I have, though, I need round cable, and the only round cables I can find are flex, not solid-core (like twin and earth).
None of the cabling is below ground, so I don't think I need to get SWA.

Kill joy ;o))))0 -
Twin and earth isn't really suitable for outside use so that's why the glands take flex - this is suitable as long as it is correctly sized for the current it will carry0
