Hello all..this is the first time I have used this thread, perhaps you can help me? I have heard of a card that you put money onto from your own account and then use as a debit card. I think I would like one of these and use the balance to pay for my food shopping throughout the month. Does anyone know what they are called? Cheers.

But why pay for one when a bank will give you a debit card for free?
It's not rocket science to keep a record of your account balance.
