Does anyone know who to complain too about Tescos opticians
Bought some varifocals 10months ago and have had ongoing problems with them. Been back several times and they have been useless! Main problem is the nose pads keep popping out and now have been replaced with ones that don't fit very well ( they don't have spare nose pads for my frames)!! beacause they are varifocals the wrong nose pads mean the glassess do not sit in the right place. Those who wear varifocals will understand! Been back again today and the have just bent bits to make the fit better!! So now wonky glassess! They cost over 500.00! Customer service is awful so my plan is a letter of complaint but not too sure where to send it too.

  • Hi,

You can do it one of four ways:
    - Call 0845 601 3479
    - Email help@tescoopticians.com
    - Write to Tesco Opticians, Freepost NWW8216A, Altrincham, WA14 5UR.
    - Tweet them @TescoOpticians

    Hope you get it sorted.

Obviously having paid so much you want to get them fixed by Tesco, but just wanted to say that when one of the nose thingys broke on my specs recently I found there are loads for sale in all manner of types and styles (very inexpensively) on eBay.

Oh, and don't shop in Tesco again. Ever. For anything.

Yes I agree it should be an easy problem to fix but despite numerous visits they still don't/would/can't restock them! No other opticians has them either! They are rimless frames and the lenses are also constanly loose, been back to ask them to tighten the screw. Was told that the lense is meant to be loose and tye assistant refused to tighten them!. These wobble they are so loose! I now tighten them myself. I had the same frames before without any issues!
