How to send and receive faxes?

Hi does anyone know how to get free fax software, to receive and send faxes by email? Thanks

hi i know how to receive a fax free, i had to do it yesterday. look for fax me now company in your search engine. they charge an annual fee to send the fax though, hope that helpsspanky xx

You would need to say whether you have a dialup connection or cable/broadband. If dialup, there are lots of options (try a search for shareware/freeware at somewhere like tucows.com). If broadband, you are limited to paid-for web-based services, as fax software works by sending an analogue signal down a phone line.
You can usually use
http://www.tpc.int/tpc_home.html
to SEND text faxes most places for free. If you need to send drawings or photos, you are back to a paid service.
