fixing a loose garden gate post

Lube
My gate post (painted) is loose to a adjoining wall. The gate has loosed it in the wind. It has two metal bolts that go into the post, rather than take the posts out and redo what fixing can I use where I can drill into the post and re plug the wall without taking post down
The thickness of the post is 7cm so probably need something around 10-11cm long
Thanks

It's probably better and more effective to take the post down and put in totally new fixings. Why keep the old ones in when they are obviously ineffective?
Also, by removing the post you will be able to access the wall and ensure that the fixings to take the bolts are secured properly when you redo them- and can fix any damage that the loose fixings have caused!0 -
Thanks its only slightly loose. The post on other side was loose a few years ago and it came off and we fix the old plugs/post back on with grip fill I think some green glue in a mastic gun and its rock solid. I dont really want to take post off its its still quite strong I just wanted it tight as I dont want some desirables trying to gain access to rear of out property. I dont live in a high crime area but neighbour did get robbed many years ago0
