Washing machine waste hose too short :(

I have just bought a new washing machine and i have found the waste hose pipe is too short to reach the outlet.Whats the best way to sort this please? On my old machine the waste pipe was on the right hand side where as this one is on the left.(Hence the shortness?)I am a novice at diy.Thanks in advance for any tips.

Two options :

1) If you can, extend the waste pipe that the washer waste goe into or get a plumber or handyman to do it for you.

If you can wait a couple of days, get onto eBay or the like and search for 'washing machine drain hose extension'. Good prices, and will solve your problem.

Do not attempt to join two hoses together, as this can cause issues in the future, namely if they seperate during a cycle....
