The £3 referral offer is still advertised on there but after I referred a friend (who has now registered) there was a message stating 'The reminder offer is now closed'.

The reminder offer was an old offer from a few months ago, when we all got our mothers day cards for free. They were giving out £3 credit if you set up some birthday reminders in your account so that was a free card, and then if you used somebody's referral code you got your order for half price so people were getting 2 of the £2.99 cards without paying a penny. The referral offer was working then too, so then of course you could refer your sister and you got another £3 credit for another card, while she got 2 for free too.

I do like the site and I have used it to pay for cards since then. With free postage and only £1.79 for the small cards it's a good deal anyhow, cheaper than the other personalised card sites. I know at least one mum has been so impressed with the card I gave to their child that they have gone onto the site and ordered for themselves, without using any incentive so at least funkypigeon are getting some business that way.

You can ask for it to be posted to you, with an extra envelope so you can post it to your dad later.

Mine are despatched. 4 accounts (sister, mum and my husband who is at the same address as me).

Because we might send cards to each other, it should be okay for my husband and myself to both have an account at the same address, but it means that if I wanted to I could refer a hundred fictional people at my address, order free cards for them and use all that referral credit without paying the company a penny, because they allow you to refer anyone as long as there's an email address.

I've got a domain thingy, so in theory I could refer hundreds of people and give them all email addresses. It's open to abuse, and they didn't seem to mind last time.

It's open to abuse, but people choose to abuse it - probably why my faith in human nature has deminished to practically nothing.
