This does not sound like MPPI because it does not cover unemployment and because PPI policies are not normally schemes offered to employees.

It sounds like sickness and accident policy or possibly permanent health insurance.

It is a PPI, but just accident and sickness, there would be a reason why there is no unemployment on the policy, sometimes you can take it off if self-employed

Why was it mis-sold? If it was suitable for you and you were eligible for it, you will probably have no chance unless it was a single premium which I doubt.

You mention life insurance, but thats a unrelated product.

As said above, MPPI covers unemployment. IF the policy you have doesnt cover unemployment then you either have a PHI (the best form of long term income protection) or an accident and sickness policy.

That leads onto the fact it was distributed through your workplace and there are no group MPPI plans on the market. So, that makes it likely to be an A&S or a PHI policy.
can i claim this back as a mis sold ppi

You havent give your reasons for complaint. So, even if it was PPI, we are unable to tell you if you have a case or not. So, what is your reason for complaint?
