Today I switched Gas with capped 2013 - is it any good?

Hi, I have switched my Gas for E.ON - Age UK Price Protection April 2013. is this a good deal? comparing on all the comparision sites bringsup this deal and I went for it with 25 pounds cash back. I have 14 day cooling off period and I welcome your suggestions.Thanks

    May depend on your usuage.

    I have just switched to EDFv2 fix till Sept 12, with cashback it was virtually the same as the cheapest variable tariff with EoN (present supplier, currently on FOL8 which ends 1/7).

    Think the Age Protection was over £100 more for me.

    I switched to this from Eon Online Fix 8 for both Electricity and Gas. It gives me peace of mind for nearly two years and the prices seem reasonable, considering they have not yet increased this time round.......yet!

    Having fixed to this on Thursday after using comparison sites, Eon telephone me on Friday night saying that I had looked at their products on comparison sites and they wanted me to transfre to them! They seemed rather confused after asking me who was my current supplier and I replied Eon, for the past four years:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
