Was looking at tiles today (kitchen picked - now tiles to find) and the guy at the shop asked if it was an extension, and was we entitled to VAT free. He advised we ring the tax office.

Any thoughts if this could be right??:j

Is it worth adding that am never entitled to anything!

Im pretty sure its only new builds you can claim back VAT, not extensions. Having just googled it, if you look at 3.4 it says whats not included and it says extensions aren't

Thanks mandala, really appreciate, will save me ringing and searching.

Didn't think for one second would be eligible for any form of money off but you can still live in hope!

CDT at Underwood. Their quality was definitely better but Wickes was cheaper (with their 50% plus 15% plus 5% off plus Interest free).

Now that decision made, moving on to tiles, bathrooms etc etc. :rotfl:
