How much to wallpaper a room?

I know it will vary depending on location but just wondered roughly how much a room should cost to wallpaper and the ceiling painted? The approx room size is 8ft wide by 16ft long and the ceiling is fairly low due to it being a garage previously. Also I will be providing the wallpaper myself. We are in Wales if that helps. Would just like a rough idea of what it should cost around because I have had what seem to be very high quotes. Thanks in advance
