Facebook group help

Hi I've created a facebook page and added an email address for the group but have realised that the group works through windows mail and that as I've only got a dongle that's no good to me as I use a gmail which is a web email. I've tried going into the settings and getting rid of the email address attached to the group but have had no luck , can anyone help please, also I've created a document posted it but nothing has come up it says document created and the name of it but there is nothing in it.
