just about to sign contracts for our purchase...
on the mortgage deed we need a witness to sign next to our signiture, as i am buying with my partner do we need a different witness each or can we use the same one?

  • Hi, no you do not need a different witness - your witness needs to be over 18 years of age and not related to either of you - the witness will need to see you sign the documents in front of them and normally the witness will then have to sign his/her name, then state their full name, address and sometimes occupation
