Dear All
New to all this but this site has been very useful.
I may need to rent my home while living away. I intend to get the relevant legal landlord certs, gas, elec and insurance cover. However if I don't mention that I am renting to my mortgage co what are the implications. I would need to switch lender and want to know the legal implications of not informing the lender. I suspect in theory they can recall the loan is this likely? I could still switch lender if caught out..
Many thanks for your help

Why switch lender. Ask your current lender for a permission to let letter. Depending on the lender, they may alter the interest rate and charge an admin fee, they may not.0
