Cheapest Packing Box & bubble wrap company?

in House buying, renting & selling
Hi All

After many many months...we are about to complete on our sale! Hurrah! But now we need to put all of our stuff into storage (FYI: we cant afford to rent and still waiting for a decent house to come up)

Anyone know of any cheap online companies that sell packaging stuff bubble wrap and boxes? Any tips?

    Get used boxes from your local supermarket.

    Buy or scrounge bubble wrap yourself. There is no need to pay for these things.

    £1 shops for the bubble wrap if you can't get any free from shops of freegle (or freecycle; depending which one you have in your area.)

    Maybe ebay too?
    RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

    Buying sturdy stationery archive boxes from stationers will pay dividends - they take a lot of weight, usually have carrying handles, lids, and are stackable.

    They'll typically fold away and be good for your next move, too.

    Boxes are cheapest from a removal company ( or free from supermarkets- ask them to savecapple and oranges and go in 1st thing to getbthem)

    Buuble wrap - online. I get mine from eurooffice who offer discount to new buyers. Get a giant roll- comes next day. Get small bubble size not big- big I'd goo hard to lack small items in
    June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

    July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550

    October challenge £100 a day. £385/£3100

    Boxes, packing tape and bubble wrap are often cheapest from packaging companies. Have a look in yellow pages and phone around a few. I would go for 12 inch cubes for books and 18 x 12 x12 or 18 inch cubes for other things. Although you can scrounge odd bits of bubble wrap from shops etc. you will have plenty to do when moving house and a 50m or 100m roll is quite cheap to buy.

    I agree with Martindow. Check your Yellow pages or yell.com

    Online supplies are all well and good, but delivery charges on boxes (heavy) and bubble wrap (bulky) can often double the total cost.
    Life should be a little nuts; otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together.
