Groupon praise

philwjones - interesting review, as I've always wondered about such higher price deals on Groupon. However, it can't and isn't representative of all restaurant deals on the site. We have bought several in the North East and they have been lovely and superb value. But ours have been around the £10-15 price bracket (for 2 people) and so at that price are worth a punt. A great way to try somewhere new without risking £60-odd for a poor meal.0

After four positive experiences with Groupon I'm afraid to say I have now encountered a problem :-( Well it's more the supplier's fault, than Groupon's, but still. I bought these hair straighteners about 2 weeks ago (mine are on the blink). I was told it would take a few days before my voucher code could be activated, so I thought fair enough and tried a week later and it just says 'voucher doesn't exist'. Other people have had this problem too. I mean, I only paid 15 quid for them, but it's the principle! If O Spa London didn't know if it could handle so many people taking advantage of the offers, it shouldn't have offered the straighteners on almost every town on Groupon!! Hope the voucher starts working soon! Fingers crossed!0

Some restaurants do seem to have 'groupon' menus which isn't really on, after all your not getting the value offered in the voucher advert.0
