There's no reason that component would give a better image than RGB. The YPbPr signals are simply calculated from the RGB values.
Everyone thinks that component cables are better, but then most games consoles seem to be US-centric. They've never heard of RGB in america.
This also seems to be why the take up of HDTV is much higher over there since their original signals are terrible.0 -

in this particular instance there is a reason as to why component will give a better picture than RGB. 480p isn't supported over RGB.0 -

Get a second controller if you can as it will save you swapping the sweaty controller over every 30 seconds. If you want to play boxing you`ll need a second controller and numchuck too.
Happy gaming
30 seconds? I play on my Wii for an hour or so and hardly wipe my hands at all.
Wii component cables are in short supply at the moment. I was lucky in that I managed to find the last one (it was a 3rd party one, not an official part) in my local area.0 -
Well I'll be jiggered if I'm paying £20 for the "offical" component cable, quite apart from the fact there are none anywhere to be ordered. I'd make my own if I could get the Wii plug, I already have cable and RCAs.
As It's pretty difficult to make a bad component cable, I've ordered one from play-asia for under £7 delivered.
They say they'll be in stock on the 20th, so I guess it'll turn up early in the new year. I'll cope with composite until then.0 -
Anyone heard anything firm on the rumour of the free download of Wii Opera web browser starting on the 23rd December?0
