Cancelling Tesco Travel Insurance?

How annoying is this. I am going to America in the summer for my Honeymoon :j and about 1 month ago we bought Worldwide travel insurance from Tesco which cost a lot of money.
Well today, I have sorted out my new home insurance with Direct Line and guess what an amazing thing they give you - free Worldwide travel insurance.
Do you think I'll be able to get any money or anything back from Tesco?? It's just with a wedding and honeymoon to pay for, we could do with any help we can get (although I do believe I've been a moneysavingexpert with the wedding fund!!)
Any help, suggestions gratefully received!!

No Travel Insurances are non refundable, as you would have had cancellation cover for any booked trips. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
