Hello there,
I wonder if anyone has submitted a planning appeal before? I did so on 31st May, i received an automated response informing me that I would be told if my appeal was valid "as soon as possible", I still havnt heard if it valid or not. Has anyone else submitted an appeal or more to the point how long did it take before you received a response?
Many thanks in advance.

Have you searched the planning inspectorate's website to see if it has been registered. Also you can check with the LPA.I'm retiring at 55. You can but dream.0

Thanks for the reply Cash-Cow, yes I have searched both and its not showing up yet, I emailed to ask for a rough idea of how long it takes to hear back and they just said "very soon", seems a long time just to find out if the appeal is valid though? maybe im just being impatient!?!0 -
I understand you want to get the ball rolling as soon as possible although considering the length of the appeal from start to finish a week or so won't make much difference. What sort of appeal is it written or informal inquiry?I'm retiring at 55. You can but dream.0

Its a written one, true about the time scales involved, I just think that 2 weeks is a long time to wait for them to say "yes everythings in order we will start your appeal process", even if they said "you will get a respose within 2 weeks", never mind I'm hoping to hear something by the end of next week, fingers crossed! Thanks again.0
