DSLRs are nearly all limited by the mechanical speed of the camera and not the speed of the card.
I doubt you will find any general use DSLR which would benefit from a fast card.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

Mines a compact camera and shoots 10 fps (frames per sec) if you had 1 of the OP cards in it would take the memory card nearly 4 secs to write it,but with a class 10 it is instant and you can take your next shot straight away.... There are a lot of new compacts under £200 that need the faster mem cardsGet Appletv2 & XBMC in and thank me later :beer:0 -

My computer's playing up so I can't search properly at the moment but I doubt you'd get Sandisk for that price. There areother makes that are just as good though. I use Transcend but there's also Kingston that are easily available at this sort of price. MyMemory sells them-look on Amazon or their own website. Do I get any of the £40 still?!0 -

my mate used to live in Taiwan where these are made and they are £3 a gig for the class 10 pro sd cards,so if we could find em for £1 gig that would be Mega - but Mr T wouldn't sell them

My local Tesco store had an SEL for £3.97 for a Sandisk 4gb m2 memory stick (no stock though), so it seems like there might be a few reductions on stuff like this.
