Sharp 32" LCD TV £150 At Woolworths !!

Has anyone approached the fact that the tv was technically ADVERTISED on the web site for that price. therefore it is a criminal offense to advertise good at a price thats missleading. If they took your money then i think under british law the contract is signed and sealed. personally if i had seen it i would of ordered 1, but anymore takes the pee. I'd say no one will get there TVs. but good look taking legal action..which will cost you more than the saving on the TV. I'd say get over it and move on.0

they didn't actually take any money0

Unfortunately it is classed as an "invitation to treat" and they are not legally obliged to sell you it at that price. Also they have added that it was a mistake and therefore have no legal obligation to sell it at that price.
Only when they take your money do they form a contract and you have grounds for redress.0 -

I hope it's on a "No Win, No Fee" basis, but somehow I doubt it. :rolleyes:0 -

It is actually! I wouldn't do it if I had to pay out my own money.
However the lawyer has assured me I have a strong case.
I suggest everyone else to contact one of these no win, no free people. If you are successful, you don't have to pay!Mortgage as Sept 2012: £96,000

:T I was driving past merc garage today and there was a car for sale for
£ ... 95 so when they explained the stickers in the windscreen should say £55995 but the stickers had fell off I found this unreasonable - I am taken them to the european court / the old bailey do you think i have a case ?
I think they are duty bound to give me the car for £95 obviously the same reason people on should get the Tv's no doubt in my mind at all
on the other hand I could just get a life

i'd argue that it's actually 95p and if Mecerdes dare to contest this, when you win your court case you want a new top of thge range car and compensation for hurt feelings too.0
