maybe they dont know about the error yet, and have just been trying to get the site up and running after not knowing why it went down!0

I'm wondering if this isn't some scam by Woolworths to get as many people to it's website as possible to see how it copes. In preparation for the New Year Sales rush when most websites crash.

My first order was cancelled, so I went right back and ordered the 26" Beko....reckon they'll have these in store to collect? If so, I might go down there with the website page and buy one.

Could somebody please ascertain which TVs were £800 off if it wasn't these ones...0

Thanks to the op for being generous in sharing his/her find.....but I personally would have kept this one to myself as it will now be rumbled and unlikely they will receive this, whereas a few may have slipped through before they twigged.Or at least waited a day before posting.
Who else would have posted?0 -

Just to keep you happy, I just called West Yorkshire Trading Standards. They agree with me and cite Worldpay (a credit card transacting service used by very many online retailers) as an example of a reputable online organisation that charges at the time of the transaction.
Sorry to sound like a smug git, that's really not my intention, but there is so much misinformation on this site at times regarding consumer rights that I just think it's worth correcting in this case, especially if it stops people making idiots of themselves when they find themselves quoting erroneous "facts" at companies.0 -
