Seems to be working ok nowITV Winners Club #87 :eek:0

it's still on their website now - it takes a while to load, because of all the traffic going to it - but if you search for 'plasma' it's still there.
Personally I think it's a marketing ploy to get hold of thousands of emails for marketing purposes when the january sales start (targeting savvy bargain hunters)
if they refuse to honour the sales (as history would indicate here: http://news.zdnet.co.uk/internet/0,1000000097,39245710,00.htm) then it's a devious underhand marketing practice in my opinion.
Back to the actual transaction: There was mention of T's and C's in earlier posts on this thread but at no point during ordering the telly was I asked to confirm that I agree to the terms and conditions (as happens on most websites), nor was I aware of any in existence on their site either.

lets hope the lucky ones who got a confirmation email saying it WILL be delivered WILL be the ones who have their order honoured.

Bubbles you need to be really sure you know what you're talking about before you go accusing others of not knowing things.
There is currently no legislation preventing a company from charging you before despatch - it's completely legal. Whether it's ethical or not is a whole other story...0 -

have a chat with trading standards then let me know what you find. anyway, whatever you think about the law, i know woolies subscribe the policy of not charging until despatch (except a few cases where they c0ck things up).
so nothing lost...0 -
