Decided to install NotScripts on the Chrome browser. Installed it, but can't find the extensions folder to set the password. Instructions are pretty complex...to me
. Any help appreciated.

You haven't said what OS, but for Vista or 7, copy this:-
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\odjhifogjcknibkahlpidmdajjpkkcfn
Click the start button and paste it into the "search programs and files" box.
Click the result at the top of the box and open the folder. Then follow the rest of the instructions. HTH.
Can't be bothered with it personally. Too much hassle:)0 -

Something about privacy protection. It was just too user unfriendly for me so I didn't really read it properly, but it is explained here http://optimalcycling.com/other-projects/notscripts/change-password/0 -
I've had no problem with it. Don't remember setting a password but I just checked the settings and it says:Andrew1472 wrote: »Something about privacy protection.
