Unvented Direct Cylinder

We have had a Santon Premier Plus Unvented system for over a year.
The last two days we have only had lukewarm water by the morning.

I have just remembered to open the two release values as we were recommended to do this fairly regulalry.
Is this likely to solve the problem or is it possible that something else is wrong.

What valves were you recommended to operate? As I don't think you should need to do that.
If your heating is not working or is slow then pump failure is possible .
The next is motorised valve failure.

It s a Direct Unvented unit, so there is no pump and no motor.
There are two values, one on the cylinder and one on the cold water mixer before the expansion vessel.
The manual says to open these values from time to time and ensure the water goes through the tundrel.

That makes a difference then!

You have immersion heater failure .Unless your water is heated by some other external means.
You should not be operating any valves they are pressure/temperature relief safety valves and should only discharge into the tundish when you have a problem.
They should be operated only when you have your annual safety service.
You need someone with G3 certificate to look at your cylinder.
