EDF - how do you rate them as a supplier

I'm thinking of switching to EDF's fixed rate, but when I checked online for a review of them as a supplier there seem to be a lot of negative comments about their customer service, account handling etc.

Anyone on here got experience of them? Would you recommend them as a utlities supplier? IS their online account handling OK? Would really appreciate your thoughts - thanks.

I transferred to them yesterday. They were rated the same as my previous supplier and the one before that.

I think it is too easy to see a few rants and forget the millions of customers who they service day in day out.

Like most suppliers if your issue is reasonable and properly articulated, you pay your bills on time and are sensible I am sure they will be fine.

If they are not follow their documented complaints procedure or rant at the CEO. The way of the world of globalisation.

  • ^^ been with them for 4 years now , cant fault them , but the comment you`ll usually find are those who have
had bad experiences - tarrifs not being applied properly , switching not done correctly (although 1/2 the time thats a failing of the website thats used)

Thanks for your comments - both valid and, thinking about it, there will always be bad comments floating around about any supplier ;)
