i managed to order some bits from them in the early hours, and was about to post here this morning when the op got there first (had not seen yesterday's post)
have just checked my emails and i've got a generic cancellation email and a rubbish discount.... boo hiss0 -
I've received the cancellation e-mail too. I didn't expect to get my item so not too disappointed.0

hi what was it you ordered, it may be worth having a moan at Amazon if IWOOT are listing stuff they do not actually have0 -
I wonder if the person responsible for all the recent tesco price glitches was sacked and then took a job at iwoot?! Lol
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -
i ordered about 25 things! thought i had my kids and family b'days & chirstmas all sorted...
although i have the email, no orders are as yet cancelled in my amazon account... i intend to complain to amazon and leave them bad ratings... thing is, i was thinking that surely enough people have probably been let down by this one that if we all report them to amazon they risk their account being suspended for poor performance... some of the prices i paid were pretty average, so maybe some things might turn up, but the one vague email so far is very bad customer service as it has left me not knowing what is going on as i palced a few orders as i spotted stuff i wanted... but only got the one email, and yet all orders show as open in amazon... i doubt i will buy from iwoot in future, i had not actually seen the post on here when i placed my first order so i thought that the prices were a good clearance sale, it is rubbish to just get a vague email... 0 -

I agree, i recieved some vague email, didnt even quote what order number they were refering to, as like you ordered several things, all items saying awaiting despatch. Got the cancellation email yesterday, then they took money for the orders today and items awaiting despatch now...confused!:mad:0 -
I ordered quite a few things as well for Xmas pressies, spent about £200. I too received the vague email and emailed them straight back telling them I was disgusted and that negative feedback would be left regarding this. A poxy 10% discount isnt worth anything.
I know it was unlikely we were going to get some of these items, but the time taken to respond and the poor email is extremely irritating. They made the mistake not us.Please God, help me stop spending!0 -

and it gave an estimated dispatch date of the 13th. Hang on in there!
Aaaaaaaand here's my cancellation email. Booo!
So can I leave feedback on the transaction? They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

I ordered 2 things and have just received the cancelled email. I checked the status this morning and it said it was being processed, about to be dispatched and that the order could not be cancelled by me. How comes they can cancel the order and the items are in stock at a dearer price from iwantoneofthose? Grrrrrrrrrrr:(0
