I've got a mate at a couriers and City Link have sub contracted to local firms all over the place (including his) as they haven't enough couriers themselves to get parcels out!

These other couriers range from tin-pot couple of van drivers to big firms also delivering for other Couriers too.

Some next day deliveries are taking over a week to arrive to the customer!

No wonder parcels are going "missing".

These should be on a before 12pm service with citylink as express delivery is before 1pm

Phone Amazon and complain saying you ordered express delivery and it is not happening. I did and they refunded my delivery charge.

City Link is a nightmare - you cant get hold of them on the phone and they often 'lose' items, personally I think the staff they get for the xmas rush know what is in the parcels and decide to lose a few.... It happend to me last year. Ordered something and waited, and waited for it to arrive. Got hold of City Link, they said they tried to deliver but no card was put through the door so they sent the item back but it never got returned.

So give Amazon a ring and they should refund you your delivery charge

Anybody order their Wii from Amazon 1st class instead of Express? I did, and still shown as being dispatching soon...what chance have I getting it tommorow or Saturday? (presuming they deliver on Sat).

Possibly got a chance to get a Wii from somewhere else so I can pick up, very tempted to go for that option at the moment!

Morning Wii-hunters!
I just rang Amazon about my order being stuck at "dispatching soon, estimated delivery 28th December".
It should have arrived today because I'd chosen express delivery. I was told that it was due to glitch in the dispatch system with deliveries which has now been resolved.

Mine won't arrive on time, however it would be a little later, and arrive by xmas. I got the payment refunded for special delivery however.

The lady from Amazon also said that all for all successful orders yesterday it should arrive by xmas.

Hope this helps someone.

Yours will probably go out by Parcelforce today and should be out for delivery tomorrow.. you could give them a call to find out though: 0800 279 6620
