cheapskate58 wrote:Yeah that was to nuts who wanted to be the very first to own a PS3. When it's released over here it'll be almost six months old The nuts over here will have already bought theirs from the US or Japan.
The games fanatics over here will have pre-orders in all over the place to ensure that they get one.
So who are you planning to sell it to then - if indeed you are?
The reason the Wii has gone beserk is simply because they launched it three weeks before Christmas at a reasonable price and thus everyone appears to want one. That means that spivs can sell them on to nutters who absolutely MUST have one before 25th December. The Xbox 360 was the same. The PS3 launches in March....:rotfl:
Sony have a very recent history of !!!!-ups. Methinks this will be the same - too late and too expensive:p
totally agree...price is driven by demand and lack of supply but also in this instance, which is key, a time factor. In March the time factor is non existent so most people will just wait. Yep, it may be better for Sony to sell their console next xmas, which will be too late.Stevie Coppell's record breaking blue and white royal army - championship winners 2005-60 -
Well my bf said there are 4 delivered every day which get sold very quickly. He works on the entertainment section there and stocks the shelves of them every morning. The shop opens at 8am so I guess you have to be there then and get there first.Riyazi wrote:Was getting ready for a 40 mts trip to Bromley at Bow.
Black Saturn - is it possible to confirm through your boyfriend that there are Wiis on the shelves (or in hidden storage) at Bromley at Bow ? I think callers might get a standard "no stock available" answer because of either incorrect information at CS or to discourage (hysterical) rush to get the wii2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -

Ah, but if it's only 6 months old and cost £900, I think you'd be slightly miffed! But my kids can't see want the problem is - I'm seriously thinking of throwing the damn thing away! (The Wii that is)Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0 -
I have a spare Wii and a problem, my sisters pre-order at PC World is not going to get fulfilled before Christmas - she ordered it on the 16th. I promised my boss the spare one as long as my sis got hers. My boss is super nice and has 5 kids and is really excited about surprising his kids on christmas day. He has even been out and got Wii Play for it.
I'm not sure whether or not to let my sister buy it - even tho it's just for her husband and he can wait really, or go back on my word and let my boss buy it and then I'll know i've made 5 kids (and one boss) really happy.
I'm desperately hoping someone somewhere will get more in and then I can make both people happy
anyone now if Amazon are planning on flogging anymore before Christmas? 0 -
even if amazon get anymore in before christmas the chances of getting it delivered before christmas is very slim....
I know that argos are meant to be getting more in though ......0 -
more to be ordered online or for picking up in store? I hate letting people down, it's making me feel horrible
not bad enough to sell mine though - oh no! 0 -
We just put a large rug down and tell the kids to stay on the rug while bouncing around!
Its great, normally hard to get them top exercise!lyniced wrote:Ah, but if it's only 6 months old and cost £900, I think you'd be slightly miffed! But my kids can't see want the problem is - I'm seriously thinking of throwing the damn thing away! (The Wii that is)0
