Well my wii is on it's way! I'm so excited, just trying to find some cheap games now. Paid a total of £171.60 inc delivery so very happy.

My wii turned up an hour or so ago, delivered by City Link. That's 2 big surprises, getting one in the first place and having it delivered on a Saturday. Great spot, OP. Thank God I logged in here early yesterday am.

Ordered this around 07:26 or so and received an auto confirmation email minutes after. I selected express delivery. It has said dispatching soon with a estimated delivery of the 19th. Payment was taken an hour after i ordered too.

From MSE'rs experience is it worth getting excited? Just feeling a little anxious as a lot of consoles have been dispatched/received or had dispatch emails.

Yeah that was to nuts who wanted to be the very first to own a PS3. When it's released over here it'll be almost six months old The nuts over here will have already bought theirs from the US or Japan.

The games fanatics over here will have pre-orders in all over the place to ensure that they get one.

So who are you planning to sell it to then - if indeed you are?

The reason the Wii has gone beserk is simply because they launched it three weeks before Christmas at a reasonable price and thus everyone appears to want one. That means that spivs can sell them on to nutters who absolutely MUST have one before 25th December. The Xbox 360 was the same. The PS3 launches in March....:rotfl:

Sony have a very recent history of !!!!-ups. Methinks this will be the same - too late and too expensive:p
