Had to leave a gig early or get crushed

Not really sure where to put this..
Thanks to my M.S. i don't get to go out often and when a favorite band of mine were playing in my area in an 'intimate' show, i jumped at the chance.
Been to the venue before a few times, even last year in my wheelchair..
But last night was different, publicity around it said only 200 tickets would be available, great i thought with the venue it will be ok, not overly packed out.
How wrong was I, 400 people were squashed in, at one stage i was eating the hair of the woman in front of me, couldn't move struggled to breathe with the crush.. The air con wasn't working, 400 skinny teens this place might have managed, but 99% were in our 40's and had an extra pound or two on.
I had to leave halfway through, being squashed and stamped on, not being able to breathe i just knew there would be problems, so OH and me manage to get out, I told security how bad it was, they said there were 400 people in the venue, and the air con had broken down.
If i had taken my wheelchair i just know people would of been crushed up against me and fallen on to me.
I've emailed the organizers of the event, because any more venues like this really need to check they can take the capacity..
The venue have claimed to be able to take over 500 (once for Alanah Morrisette), but last night how no serious injuries occurred i don't know.
I paid for a gig i couldn't stay at because the conditions were dangerous, OH said he had to get out, and he's been in crowded places plenty of times (major gig'er) but he couldn't breathe and being squashed and pushed was too much.
Do we let this go..

yes that's the place.
OMG there was no way they could of squeezed another 50 in.
450 skinny teens bit of a squeeze, but we are talking about fans who are in their 40's and not so.... skinny..
Wonders how on earth they got over 500 in there when Ms Morrisette played, (security said last night that was a record of theirs).
The security guys were great, really sympathised but had their hands tied to what they could do.
when they had the door open you got a blast of fresh air, but due to rules and regulations on noise the door had to be kept closed.
Seems i am not the only one complaining about the venue..a few others are starting to complain on other sites.
Such a shame it was a great night for the time i was there.0
