Hi guys i made a transfer today around 5pm over the phone i sent the payment to my friends natwest account the guy on the phone said the payment will clear tomorrow morning.

I just logged in to my natwest online banking i cant see no payment going out or on the statement?

How long dose it take for payments over the phone to clear.?

New single direct payments will go through the next business day. The money will debit your account on that day as well. Payments made over the telephone from 5.30pm onward is treated as the next working day and therefore will debit and credit the next business day given the receiving bank recognises faster payments.
