Lol, as the title suggests, does anyone have any links to any websites or the like that explain how to use Photoshop CS5.1 to make blog banners?

I'm not looking to do anything complicated, just simple. Tried watching a few youtube videos but I prefer seeing things written down if that makes sense?

TIA

what is special about a blog banner?

the banner is often comprised of at least two images..

one plain image which can be stretched horizontally without causing distortion,
and a second image which has content that is relevant to your own blog theme..

Banacek - that link is excellent, thank you so much!!

Asbokid - there may not be anything special in regards/difficult (to you) to blog banners but unfortunatley I wouldn't have known the first place to start in regards to making one. I was just looking for assistance in using Photoshop.

    Again, thank you banacek!!
  • One has to wonder why you'd pay all that money for software you don't know how to use.

Hope you did a thorough virus check...

    ;o)
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.

    Gotta love this forum.

Surely if I was technically savvy enough to download said programme and install it I would know how to work it? In reality I can just about clear my cache and cookies, anything over that then I'm screwed.

In actual fact I was given a laptop from a family member and it had the programme installed so figured i'd have a play around with it. They are in Oz for a year so I can't really pop round and ask for a tutorial.

Not everyones out to steal from someone else, yes piracy is theft!

Last time ill ask for help on this part of the forum though.

Just go to google and type in tutorials and then make some things to sell like photoshop brushes or textures.

I know a lot of people make a nice tidy little sum that goes to their paypal account ;)
I'm not poor i'm just skint
