Should I ditch my EON SaveOnline 3 and Fix?
I signed up to EON's Save Online 3 deal in November last year and if I leave will have to pay £30 before 1st November 2011. I did the Energyhelpline comparison last night and all deals showed I would be worse off if I moved so not sure if I have done it right or that is how it is! Ive used this tool many times before though and never had that result.
I do generally listen to Martin's advice hence me looking to ditch and go on a fixed price deal but not sure if that is the right move for me?
My current deal is 18.55 then drops to 10.62 for elec and gas is 6.17p down to 2.68p. EON's Fixed Price 5 is quite a bit higher at 23.79p down to 13.62p and Gas is 7.91p - 3.44p.
Not sure what to do! If I sit it out and wait until 1st November when my contract is up, do I risk paying a lot higher rates than the Fixed Price 5?
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated by anyone.
Thanks in advance

Martin has been pushing the fixed/capped deals for yonks. You decided to ignore him last time and take the risk. You don't even know what if any increase will apply, yet you are considering moveing to a more expensive tariff?
Have the courage of your convictions, or the courage to admit you got it wrong and take the hit to switch if you now want the surety of no future increases."Now to trolling as a concept. .... I'm on Eon Save Online 3 too. To switch to a fix looks like an extra 15-20%. This is what it sounds like it will probably be if I just stay on Save Online 3 and there is a price increase. I'm going to sit it out unless some crazy cashback offers come along to sweeten the deal.I'm sure I went upstairs for some reason.0
